PythiaFootball is a probabilistic model for European football. Rather than guess a single scoreline, Pythia estimates the full range of outcomes for a match, the probability of each, and where those probabilities differ from the market, across 100+ leagues and refreshed as new information arrives.
Football is uncertain, so we model it as a distribution of outcomes instead of one answer. Every fixture is expressed as calibrated probabilities: how likely each result is, how many goals to expect, and how the scoreline is likely to break down. It is the same principle that underpins serious quantitative forecasting, quantify the uncertainty first, then act on it.
Pythia learns from a deep history of matches across 100+ competitions, weighting recent, relevant and context-specific signals over noise.
A 70% call should land roughly 70% of the time. We tune the model so its stated probabilities match real-world frequencies.
We compare our probabilities with prevailing odds to surface where the model sees value the market may be missing.
For every fixture Pythia outputs result probabilities (home, draw, away), expected goals, the most likely scoreline distribution, over/under and both-teams-to-score probabilities, and a read on value versus the market. Explore the current slate on the Fixtures page, or by competition on the football predictions hub.
Any model can sound convincing. What matters is performance on matches it never trained on. We backtest against unseen seasons and publish accuracy and return openly, so you can judge the record yourself rather than take our word for it. See the live scorecard on the Validation page.
